Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Capital Shell Limited Liability Company ("CertiCancel", "we") collects when you use certicancel.com, why we collect it and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Account details for your cancellation: your name, mailing address, email, phone number, account or member number, the company and the date you want billing to stop, and any address you give us for the notice.
• Your signature and signing record: your typed name, the signature you draw, the time you signed, your IP address, your browser's user agent, the version of the consent text you accepted and a fingerprint (hash) of the letter text.
• Phone and contact requests: the details you enter in those forms, plus your IP address and user agent.
• Site usage: if analytics is turned on, Google Analytics collects standard usage data such as pages viewed and device type.

Card payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's checkout page, and we never see or store your full card number. We receive a payment confirmation and basic payment details from Stripe.

How we use it

• To prepare, sign and mail your letter, or to make the call you asked for.
• To email you about your order, including the tracking number.
• To keep a record that you authorized the letter, in case the company or your bank asks for it.
• To prevent abuse of our forms.

We don't sell your information.

Who we share it with

• The company you're cancelling with, through the letter or the call.
• Service providers that run the site for us: hosting, our database, email delivery (Amazon Web Services), payments (Stripe) and mail printing.
• Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

We keep order records, letters, signatures and signing records for [retention period] after your order, so we can show proof of what was sent and authorized. Contact and phone request messages are kept for [retention period]. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we need to keep it for a legal reason or to finish your order.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@certicancel.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under state law.
